| Abstract |
The 2017 China-Japan-Korea Tall Building Forum will be held on 21-22 September at Chongqing in China. It was the 4th meeting of this forum series, following the first held in 2014 in Shanghai, the second in 2015 in Seoul and the third in 2016 in Tokyo. This year's event will be organized by China International Exchange Committee for Tall Buildings (CITAB), and be also a collaborative effort with the CTBUH Japan Structures Committee and CTBUH Korea. CITAB also collaboratively with Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM) organized Sino-US Symposium on Tall Buildings. The first two of the symposium series were held at Tongji University in China in 2014 and 2015 consecutively and the third held at Stanford University in US in 2016. The fourth Sino-US Symposium on Tall Buildings going to be combined with the fourth China-Japan-Korea Tall Building Forum and held on 21-22 September 2017 at Chongqing in China. The theme for the two events of this year's meeting is "Challenge in Design and Construction of Super- Tall Buildings." Totally 16 presentations on the latest design and construction topics of super-tall buildings will be given representatives of US, Korea, Japan and China. Most papers presented at the forum are collected in this issue of International Journal of High-Rise Buildings. The contribution of all authors for this significant and interesting issue is highly appreciated.
